Recruitment and direct approach

In the light of the various issues involved with executive search (confidentiality, rarity, time limits, complexity, etc.) Kenseo Recruitment Solutions may implement a number of appropriate identification methods, following a proven work methodology.

Work methodology

  • Assembling a core of representative candidates
    During this first phase, we draw up a search strategy in order to identify and reach the profiles that best fit the description we have prepared together.
  • Identifying candidates
    The Search Coordinator identifies and approaches all the suitable candidates for the required profile. An initial telephone conversation enables them to confirm that the profile matches the criteria required for the position.
  • Selecting candidates
    Each candidate pre-selected by the Search Coordinator is subjected to an in-depth study on behalf of the consultant responsible for the mission. This analysis enables them to confirm, by means of a second telephone conversation, the pertinence of the profile as regards both technical and behavioural aspects.
  • Individual interviews and tests
    The selected candidates are invited to attend an individual interview with the consultant responsible for the mission. This highly privileged moment enables us to validate the competencies and knowledge of the candidate. In addition, it allows us to determine their personality and see whether it matches the culture of the company. For each short-listed candidate, we can carry out a SOSIE test www.ecpa.fr.
  • Presenting selected candidates
    We present to you the applicants qualified to fulfil the position. This involves an average of three candidates – each supported by an individual presentation file that includes our recommendations. We remain in contact with you and the candidates at all times in order to record respective impressions, refine if necessary our perception of the position and inform you of any changes in the candidates' motivation.
  • Collecting references and compiling the administrative file
    As far as is possible, we collect references to validate the competencies of the final candidate and we seek the opinion of their line manager or functional manager as regards the key elements of their personality. This stage also enables us to check the assertions of the candidate as regards their career path. A file complete with copies of qualifications is compiled for each short–listed candidate.
  • Accepting the employment offer and starting work
    When the candidate is selected, we accompany you during negotiations and throughout integration and the trial period.

Identification methodology

Advertisements

This recruitment method is used for all types of executive positions, as well as for certain expert positions. We advertise in the press and/or on the internet, according to an agreed plan of action. This method enables us to attract the CVs of candidates who are actively looking for a new position.

Direct approach

This search method, which is based on a clearly defined profile and target, consists of identifying and directly contacting candidates confidentially. The direct approach is sometimes essential for the search for rare profiles. It enables us to reach those who are not necessarily actively looking for a new position.

Use of the Kenseo candidate database

For several years now, we have been building up an internal database. It is regularly enriched by unsolicited applications, replies to advertisements from previous missions and by our Search Coordinators from their direct approaches.

CV libraries

We have special access to CV libraries that enable our Search Coordinators to carry out daily multi-criteria searches and identify candidates who are passively looking for a new position.

Webtrack

Due to the popularisation of various online social networking applications, which link people or enable them to share views on a particular professional subject, we make use of an original direct approach method. By making contact through these new networks, our Research Coordinators conduct daily searches to identify potential candidates.
